Classic vs Hybrid vs Volume: Does Aftercare Differ?
The core routine is the same — but fans, weight and refill timing change the details.
The daily foundations — oil-free cleansing, dry brushing, no picking, back-sleeping where possible — apply to every set. The differences are in the details.
Classic
One extension per natural lash. The most forgiving set: refills typically land around weeks 3–4. Twisted, grown-out lashes are the main visual giveaway that a refill is due.
Hybrid
A mix of classic and volume fans. Fans can close if cleansing is skipped or if oils reach them — consistency matters a little more, refills usually around weeks 2.5–3.5.
Volume / Russian
Handmade fans of fine lashes. Beautiful, and slightly more sensitive to oil and rubbing: closed or crumpled fans are the first sign of aftercare drift. Gentle cleansing keeps fans open and fluffy.
Clusters & DIY
Temporary systems live days, not weeks. Never sleep in DIY clusters against your technician's or manufacturer's guidance, never pull them off dry, and follow the product's removal instructions.
